As mentioned by almost all previous reviews, this hotel is in a GREAT location! Easy walking distance to everything along the waterfront. I specifically appreciated the proximity to the grocery and drug store. I love being able to pay 'regular' price for bottles of water and various sundries and snacks. The decor in the lobby and in the room is hip, contemporary, and serene. I loved the courtyard and the fireplaces. The hotel shields you from the ocean breeze that inevitably picks up during the San Francisco evenings and the fireplaces help take the chill out of the air. The room is on the smaller side, but everything is immaculate and well thought out. I especially appreciated the motion sensor-Ed electricity in the room. Even though we did not get an outward facing room, the view of the courtyard (and peeks of the city) was pleasing as well. The only suggestion/improvement I would suggest is to up the staffing during busy hours. There was only 1 receptionist at the desk when I checked in and when I checked out, and I waited 10-15 min each time.

Stayed here one night before heading to Sonoma Valley for a wedding. Found it on Orbitz. We were delighted with everything, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, to the location, to the complimentary glass of rose wine. The room was perfect. Clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. We appreciated the quality shampoo, conditioner and lotion - not the cheap little mini offerings at many hotels. The lobby was comfortable with nice music, making it an easy place to get some work done. Would highly recommend this hotel!
