The Klaus K is located in the Helsinki city center less than a kilometer from the main train station. The hotel itself in located in an older very well-maintained structure. Although I stayed in the summer, it was very obvious that the double windows are well suited to the Finland winters. The building itself appears to be a combination of older structures with the elevator stopping at half-floor increments leading into interesting hallway geometries. A wide variety of rooms are offered. I stayed in the least expensive room which was actually quite nice and very quiet. The room had a variety of lighting which can be chosen for different needs (reading, packing).
